Campin' with the Horn Family!

We are so blessed to have such great friends! We loved our camping experience with you guys and look forward to keeping this an annual tradition. Hope there's another flying rat, too! Love you guys!

The Daddies makin' dinner for their fams.

Celebrating Jason and David's birthdays. August men ROCK!

Playing down by Dinky Creek. The kids enjoyed the water, sand, and rocks.

The boys in the hood!

We enjoyed going on a "treasure hunt" with David & Amy.

Water Park Fun

We were so blessed to have season passes at the water park! We went a lot this summer. One of the times we took two of our nephews (Matthew and Micah) to the park for their birthdays. They had such a good time!

Shaver Lake!

This is Deb's annual camping trip with her family. We had such a fun year with her whole family! We also enjoyed our Daddy up there the whole time while we camped. Our kids loved camping! Sleeping in tents, boating, swimming, hiking, smore's, playing with cousins, etc. It was such a great vacation!

We went on Papa's boat a lot! Malachi loved to drive the boat with his Daddy.

Jason's great at the wake board. Check it out!

Malachi wanted to be daring like his daddy. He tried out the tube and LOVED it! When we took him off he cried long and hard cause he wanted to ride the tube some more. It was really funny seeing such a little boy ride this big tube. He eventually started waving and smiling.

Other boats and rafts that we enjoyed with our kids!

It was a blessing to see that Deb's Nana got to be a part of Shaver Lake with her whole family. Deb did her hair every morning. Continue to pray for complete healing and comfort for her Nana!

4th of July!

We had a really fun 4th of July with Jason's sister, Shannon, and her husband, Michael. Jason got to use his new barbecue. He barbecued corn, potatoes, chicken, steak, and veggies. It was yummy! Michael was by his side making sure nothing burns. Our kids both enjoyed the fireworks this year and got kind of daring at times. Made Deb a little too nervous!

Need a Kleenex?

Gak is a really fun event to do with your kids and as a whole family! You should try it!

Snakey Our Friend!

When we put our kids to bed, we like to do different things with them (read books, sing songs, give massages, do a little play). Well, Jason invented "Snakey". The kids absolutely LOVE this sock puppet. The best part is that Jason has completely convinced these kids that Snakey is real and not a puppet. He has recorded a one way conversation and played it on our phone while the kids are on the other line. Both of us are out in the living while our kids are talking to Snakey. It is hilarious to watch them talk to this puppet and to hug this puppet. Malachi loves to kiss this sock puppet. If you look closely, it's not a really clean sock, but the kids don't mind.

Went to Paso

We got a phone call from Jason's sister. Jason's grandma was in the hospital. She was in critical condition. We decided to go see her and help around the house. While we were there we got some time to spend with Jason's two sisters, Shannon and Monique. Jason's grandma is better and we continue to pray for fast healing!

Enjoying the Beach!

Our kids loved playing at the Beach! Leah loved to play with the sand and Malachi loved the water. At one point, their daddy joined in the fun by burying both of them. They were so tickled to be buried in sand. I was expecting the complete opposite reaction. The only thing we would have liked that the beach didn't offer was an easy clean up. Man! Sand is everywhere

Visit to Huntington Beach

We visited Jason's grandma, Willa, down in Huntington Beach. We had such a wonderful time!

Malachi and Leah enjoyed playing with Grandma Willa's dog, Princess! They would drag her all around the carpet. She entertained the kids a lot!

One evening we walked to a new park. The kids played wake up the princess with a true kiss. If you look at the picture, you will be able to tell what exactly they are doing. Prince Malachi is waking up Princess Leah with a true kiss!

We got a chance to visit Jason's grandpa, Jerry. He was able to open his eyes and listen to us sing him songs and read one of his favorite scriptures.
